Dara O'Briain: School of Hard Sums

 Dave's Dara O'Briain's School of Hard Sums (Series  1,2 and 3)  was a massive set of projects that I undertook.

 Baby Cow Animation (Tim Searle) approached me with the task of animating the title sequence, but also to animate all the show  content across all three series.

 With each series having 8 shows and each show requiring:

•  3 main question topics that required animating, but also

•  3 recap versions of each question, and also

•  3 lengthy animated solutions that needed to explain very clearly how  to solve each question.

  Approximately after 3 series that made 216 in show complex mathematical animated segments that needed to be completed, but also the title sequence for each series..

 With a team of asset creators , (various per series) I had to check and question every shows explanations and work out how  to clearly  express all these mathematically on screen for the viewer to understand. With so much information on screen this was no easy task.

Titles secret: I added a simple sum on the end blackboard to denote which series we were on, eg: 1+1+1=3 for series 3.
